BRING A Handbid CAPTAIN TO MANAGE YOUR TEAM

A Handbid Auction Expert is a very experienced Auction Manager who has organized and run numerous auctions that use the Handbid software. Being available for the entirety of your event, this person would come and serve as a “Captain” and be in charge of a team comprised of other Handbid staff as well as yours. 



Auction Experts can do the following:

  • Review your auction setup and venue capabilities
  • Suggest any last-minute changes or improvements
  • Train your staff and volunteers for check-in, bid helpers, & checkout teams
  • Organize and facilitate any live auction or paddle-raise (appeal) recordings
  • Provide any escalated tech support regarding Handbid 
  • Execute your auction schedule (registration/check-in, bidding, live auction & appeals recording, and checkout)
  • Send any broadcast messages at scheduled times (or as needed)
  • Monitor items with no bids and lower starting bids as appropriate
  • Ensure that live auctions, appeals, and other elements of the auction are properly recorded in Handbid
  • Organize your checkout area and monitor the checkout team, runners, etc.
